Meet Kimberly
Kimberly Yost is a master aesthetician specializing in corrective skincare and joined the team at Norfolk Plastic Surgery, P.C. in March of 2003. Kimberly possesses a thorough understanding of skin care and her knowledge and experience set the stage for improvement of many skin care challenges including sun damaged skin, scarring, and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
With 15 years of experience in the skin care field, Kimberly is well versed in pre and post operative skin care, “problem skin” management, chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion and permanent makeup. Kimberly has also had extensive training in facial rejuvenation with Thermage® and Fraxel re:store laser.
Kimberly's expertise has evolved throughout her professional career as she continued to gain training and experience in multiple areas of service. Taken under the wing of a prominent salon owner, Kimberly started her career in 1989. Kimberly earned her cosmetology license in 1993 and went on to obtain additional licensure as an aesthetician. She obtained training through Yvonne De Villar and Yvonne Lee Skincare Institutes, while also studying with Matrix Essentials, and began teaching other professionals skin and body care treatment techniques. Kimberly continues to pursue training and education in all aspects of skincare to remain current on the ever evolving treatment options available in the aesthetic field.

Our Services
Microdermabrasion:
Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps repair facial skin that takes a beating from the sun and the effects of aging. A fine sandblaster-like device is used to spray tiny crystals across the face, combining gentle abrasion with suction to remove the problem areas of the outer layer of your skin. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation.
Chemical Peels - Obagi Blue Peel:
The Obagi Blue Peels uses an active ingredient called Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) that is applied to your face and neck to reveal a fresh, even layer of skin. This procedure typically takes less than an hour, and may require follow-up sessions to get the best result.
Vascutouch:
Vascutouch uses a low electric current to treat vascular lesions and broken capillaries. Blood vessels are either coagulated or clotted to stop blood flow to the lesion or capillaries, allowing them to be absorbed into the body naturally.
Permanent makeup:
Permanent makeup, also referred to as intradermal pigmentation, is a safe and medically proven way to improve on skin flaws or for cosmetic enhancements such as permanent lip color, eyeliner or eyebrows. Many people do not realize that permanent makeup can be used to cover unsightly imperfections in the skin such as scars, stretch marks, birthmarks, and more. Camouflage makeup:
Bruising and redness are normal occurrences after plastic surgery procedures.
